How Blue Heat Instants Works

1. Remove black foam inserts from back of goggle and set aside.

2. Moisten white fabric pockets in filtered or bottled water. Pockets should be thoroughly soaked, but not dripping.

3. Activate blue thermoeyes™ gel pack:

a. Hold gel pack in a vertical position lengthwise so the internal metal disc floats down to the narrow end of the gel pack.

b. With the internal metal disc positioned at one end of the gel pack, use the thumb and forefinger of both hands to grasp

the opposite edges of the disc. Bend the steel disc back and forth to create a clicking sound.

c. Continue to bend the disc and make the clicking sound until the gel starts to crystallize and generate heat.

4. Insert activated disc into moistened fabric pocket. Place pocketed gel pack into back of goggle. Repeat with other gel pack.

5. Place goggle over closed eyelids and gently pull the head band over the back of head to secure.

6. Wear for 15 minutes or as directed by your eye doctor.

How Blue Heat Instants Works

Resetting After Use:

  1. Bring a pot of water to a rapid boil on the stove.
  2. Submerge hardened gel packs in boiling water. Boil for approximately 5-10 minutes until all crystals are dissolved (stir occasionally and do not leave unattended).
  3. Carefully remove gel packs with a spoon and place on a towel to cool. Do not handle while cooling. The gel packs should be ready for reuse in approximately 30 minutes.

It is important all crystals in the gel pack are melted in the resetting procedure (boiling) to ensure maximum heat output. If your gel pack is cooling down quickly during use, try boiling it again to reset. This will help ensure all crystals are liquefied.

Precautions

  1. Consult eye doctor prior to use.
  2. Do not use when operating equipment, machinery, or while walking around.
  3. Do not microwave Instants.
  4. Discontinue use if you experience any eye irritations.
