How Blue Heat Instants Work
1. Clean and rinse eyelids prior to moist heat compress. (Eye Eco’s Gentle Tea Tree Eyelid & Facial Cleanser™ can be purchased separately)
2. Insert one inactive Instant gel pack into back of eyecloud® mask. Take a second Instant gel pack and click to activate.*
3. Place the activated gel pack on top of the first gel pack (inserted into eyecloud®).
4. Moisten a cotton liner with a few sprays of Soothing Eye Mist or filtered or bottled water, and place over the activated gel pack.
5. Place mask over closed eyelids and gently secure with gray velcro® strap on the front. Wear for 15+ minutes or as directed by your eye doctor.
6. After treatment, remove and discard liner. Reverse the gel packs so the used gel pack is on the bottom and the liquid Instant pack is now on top. Repeat steps 1 through 5 for the next treatment.
*To activate Instants:
a. Hold gel pack in a vertical position, lengthwise, so the internal metal disc floats down to the narrow end.
b. Use your thumb and forefinger of both hands to grasp the opposite edges of the disc.
c. Bend the disc back and forth to make a clicking sound until the fluid starts to crystallize and generate heat.
