Diabetic Retinopathy is a serious health concern.
It’s linked to a deficiency of DHA and EPA Omega-3 fatty acids, that can lead to compromised sight and blindness. Reducing the risk, or slowing it down, may be possible. However, as many as 74% of people with diabetes have difficulty digesting dietary fats including Omega-3s.
It has been shown in clinical studies that specially formulated Omega-3 fatty acids can help reduce the risk and slow the advancement of diabetic retinopathy.
